The National Literacy Trust is kicking off the Marcus Rashford Book Club 2023

The National Literacy Trust has teamed up with Macmillan Children's Books to bring schools the first chapter of Marcus' next book as well as accompanying free resources to help bring the book to life in the classroom. The 2023 Marcus Rashford Book Club pick is The Breakfast Club Adventures: The Ghoul in the School by Marcus Rashford and Alex Falase-Koya, illustrated by Marta Kissi and suitable for ages 8 to 11. Teachers are invited to continue to build a love of reading by joining author Alex Falase-Koya on Wednesday 28 June at 10.30am for a spook-tacular virtual event suitable for KS2 pupils. The event will be packed with writing tips, a Q&A with the author and plenty of creative fun.
