What kids want in books

The 5th edition of Scholastic's national survey on the state of kids and reading in the US has recently been published.

The Kids & Family Reading Report is a national survey of children ages 6–17 and their parents exploring attitudes and behaviours around reading books for fun. It is a biannual report with 2015 unveiling the fifth edition in the series.

Scholastic Inc. are the world's largest publisher and distributor of children's books. They create books and ebooks, print and technology-based learning materials and programs, magazines, multi-media and other products that help children learn both at school and at home.
