The National Literacy Trust project, which is funded by Arts Council England, is transforming people’s access to literature and building literacy skills for life in places where people are most likely to be facing poverty. Connecting Stories is now in its third year and has reached almost 700,000 people with a programme of exciting and inspirational events, including virtual author visits, storytelling sessions and fun workshops.
