Introducing the 2024 Summer Reading ChallengeMarvellous Makers!

The Reading Agency's annual Summer Reading Challenge is a fantastic free activity for children aged 4-11 that improves reading skills and confidence. Children can read whatever they enjoy to collect special rewards. They'll be able to take part at the library or online at summerreadingchallenge.org.uk

This year’s Challenge is all about creativity. From dance to drawing, junk modelling
to music, there’s something for everyone! Developed in partnership with Create, a leading charity bringing the creative arts to those who need it most, Marvellous Makers aims to unleash children's creativity through the power of reading. Read more here

The Challenge starts on Saturday 22 June in Scotland and online, and on Saturday 6 July in England and Wales.
